Team Members
Joshua N. Liberman, PhD
Principal
Joshua is a leader in care and treatment management, with 20+ years of experience connecting the dots between evidence, business development, and healthcare operations.
He works at the intersection of digital health, analytics, and improved communication to make medication management easier for providers and patients.
Joshua was operations leader for R&D units at Geisinger Health System (2011-12) and Sutter Health (2012–2018), was the R&D leader in pharmacy care and insurance at CVS Health and Caremark (1990–2011), and was COO of Innovative Medical Research, a clinical trials and survey research start-up (1991–1998).
He earned a PhD in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins and is advancing toward an MBA from the University of Maryland.
Christa Bruce, MPH
Principal
Christa is a leader in implementation practice for improvements to healthcare and support services.
She has extensive experience collaborating with providers, patients, and executives to re-engineer healthcare delivery and managing implementation of pilots and proven solutions to ensure sustained adoption and outcomes.
Christa has over 15 years of experience in healthcare R&D and community engagement at Sutter Health (2012−2019), at Geisinger Health System (2008−2012), and in the Dominican Republic (2008) and Central America (2002−2004).
She is a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner and earned an MPH from East Stroudsburg University and a BA in Biology from Gettysburg College.
“Buzz” Stewart, PhD, MPH
Principal
Buzz is a leader in healthcare delivery innovation.
He has extensive experience with digital applications in healthcare delivery and is an expert in use of real-world healthcare data for evaluation and machine learning applications, having published more than 400 articles.
Buzz founded and led R&D units as Chief Research Officer at Sutter Health (2012−2018) and Geisinger Health System (2003−2012). He served as VP of R&D, AdvancePCS (1998−2002), founded several successful data and digital-related start-ups, and was faculty at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (1983−1995).
He earned a PhD in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins and an MPH from UCLA.
